Plaster Problem

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Prado and Sons and Gene with Paddock Pools came out to look over the stains in the pool. Since the ph level bounces around 8 the staining is expected. The footprint on the first step is from hydration and the dirt in the plaster is from the materials used to make plaster. Since the pool was plastered during a dust storm, it is considered an act of god. They are willing to try and buff the surface to remove the surface staining and drain the pool to the first step to try and remove the footprint. Gene is going to contact Debbie and then let me know what they are willing to do.

Wait till Fall

Monday, June 26th, 2006

Kimberly called to check if I had been contacted by the heater repair people. I told her that the last time I had heard from anyone was last week.
She said that they would like to wait till fall to repair the main drain. If they were to do an acid stack on the main drain, it would take 72 hours till anyone could swim. I asked her why they couldn’t do it now. The cleaning system wont work correctly and the bottom is staining worse than it already is. She will have to get with the service people to see if it can be done sooner. I asked her about the dirt staining that has been there since they installed the plaster. They have already acid washed it once. I have a footprint on the first step, dirt embedded into the plaster and streaks down the sides. The only thing the last acid wash did, was to make the plaster rough and splotchy. Wouldn’t it be better to fix the drain at the same time they have to fix the stained plaster? She said she would have to get with Edward about this and get back to me. She asked that I give her till Wednesday to call me and let me know what they are going to do.

Gentry Pool Repair called and said they will be out sometime next week to look at the heat pump. They are not sure what day but will call next week to schedule a time.
Another company called about the heat pump. They were not aware that someone else had already been contacted about the repair. They said they would call Gentry to find out about it.

Pentair MiniMax Plus HP heatpump

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

Kimberly called back and said that she will try and get a service tech back out next week.
She called back and told me that the service guy will be out on Monday.
I have not heard from the heat pump repair yet. They must have a ton of units to repair before mine. It is a Pentair MiniMax Plus HP heatpump. Great unit, it worked for almost 2 weeks, can’t wait to see how it lasts for years.

Wednesday, June 21st, 2006

Pool tech. came out and said that there must be a blockage in the pipes someplace that won’t blow loose. He has to get with his manager and figure out what to do next.
I called Kimberly with customer service and left a message.

Monday, June 19th, 2006

Waterline tile was re-grouted.
I called Kimberly and left a message about the heat pump failing.
She called back and said that the subcontractor will call me and schedule a time to look at it.

Error E02

Sunday, June 18th, 2006

Today the heater / cooler stopped working. Tries to turn on then shuts down. Error code E02, high refrigerant pressure.

No Show

Saturday, June 17th, 2006

Tile people called and said they can’t make it today. Will be here on Monday.

PCC Down

Thursday, June 15th, 2006

I called Kimberly and asked when someone was going to be out to fix where the tile was separating from the deck. The tile people will be out sometime Saturday.
The cleaning system does not seem to be cleaning the bottom deep end again. Either the main drain is still plugged or the PCC-2000 is not working correctly. A tech is scheduled to come out again on Wed.

Another Pump

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

The service tech came out and replaced the wok pot pump. He also blew out the main drain again, removing several large chunks of plaster from inside the line.
The fiber optics in the waterfall was glued back in place again.

Monday, June 12th, 2006

DSC00004Kimberly called and said she had been told that the fiber optics had been repaired. We went outside and looked, but the fiber optics was still hanging out of the waterfall. She will call us back when she finds out what happened to the fiber optic people.

She called back and said they will be out within a few days to take care of the fiber optics.
I asked her about the tile people because the deck is lifting due to water seeping between the tile and deck. She will look into it and let me know when they will be out.

No Sat

Wednesday, June 7th, 2006

Service tech. can’t make it on Saturday, will try for Tuesday.

Tuesday, June 6th, 2006

The service tech. came out and tried to blow the debris out of the main drain. He ran out of compressed air. Drain still blocked. He did not have the pump needed to repair the wok pot pump. He said he will return on Saturday to try again.

Friday, June 2nd, 2006

Called again and left another message for Debbie.
Called back and talked with Rebecca. She will have someone out Tuesday to look at the main drain and air in system. The tile company will call to set up a time for caulking. The fiber optic people will call to set a time for the fiber optics to come out.
Electritions called and had the wrong work order. They wanted to put in controls for the lights. I told them that had been done a long time ago. Told them about the wok pot pump going on and off, and they said it sounded like the pump was failing. I guess they don’t do pumps.
