Paddock came out and replaced the o-ring for the cleaning system. He will return to fix the filter leak, he did not have the parts needed to fix it. The Jandy valve was also repaired. Loss of prime was due to the cover on the pump basket not being tight enough and allowing air into the system.

The ECOmatic saltwater system and ozone generator are only covered for the first 2 years, so they were not repaired.
I have not been able to find a supplier for the seals needed to repair the ECOmatic system yet. I will try and contact them directly and see if they will sell me the parts needed to repair it.
The ozone generator will probably be removed from the system due to the cost of repairs does not cover the benefits gained from the system.

I called ECOmatic and spoke with Leo. He told me he would send out the o-rings under warranty since it was just over the 2 years.

I called Paddock and spoke with Andrew about the problems with the pool. He said a tech would be out on Wednesday, July 16.
He notified me that the 2 year warranty was up as of 03-2008. I wonder where they got that date because the actual completion date was 04-26-2006 per Ed Ghiz.

He told me there will be a $65.00 service charge for the repairs.

Today while checking the chemical levels I noticed the main filter was not working. I found that it had lost prime and was not moving any water. I manually primed the system to try and get it back up. I had to almost completely shut down the skimmer inputs to keep it primed. Anytime I opened the skimmers more than a little bit it sucked air and lost prime.

I also found another leak at the input to the filter and another at the return Jandy valve.
Unknown water was found on the pipe after the chlorinater, I have not found the source of that water.
The chlorinater is leaking at an o-ring where the electrical connects.
The ozone generator is not working.

I cleaned the filter cartridges. The were getting pretty dirty.
The chlorinator is leaking at one of the electrical connectors.

I cleaned the chlorine generator cell and checked the heater. The heater showed 5 alarms but started.

Paddock came out and replaced the air release valve on top of the filter. They also tightened up the fittings that were leaking.

The top pressure release on the filter broke and sprayed the neighbors yard. Called Paddock to replace it.

While checking the heater I noticed the Ozone generator is no longer working.

Gillespie A/C came out and added freon to the system again. Will have to wait and see if that worked.

2007 the pool was being repaired so the heater was never used.

Called Pentair and spoke with Guy. He said he would forward the repair to their warranty department and they should be in contact with me within 48 hours.

I checked the heater today, and it still is not heating. I called Paddock and they said they would check on it again.

Gillespie A/C came out and replaced the auto set board in the heatpump again. This I believe is the 4th board they have replaced.

Last weekend I started up the heater. Still no heat. Will have to call and have it fixed yet again.

One of the skimmer baskets split. The rim seperated from the basket. Had to replace it with a new one.

Cleaned the salt generator element. The Eco-Matic system showed that the element was needing service. Cleaned and replaced, working normally again.
